Our decision to go back of Hauser was a good idea, we found them on top water. I was able to get them with the frog, a 4 and couple of 3s, popper , plopper also produced but some of the bass was paper thin!

Thanks for the report David. Not sure what thrust trolling motor you have, but I upgraded my battery to a lithium and it seems to be a lot more punchy.

Shawn, I'll be there bright and early and lurking in Hauser. I have a new kayak, so don't look for the blue one, it will be there, but have Jeremy ( Corso Enthusiast ) on it. I'm on the same type of kayak, but sand color now. It has an ebike motor, so I can cover even more water. Hope to see you.

Really cool running into some of the "Junkies" yesterday. We all spoke of what a special place that is and what a privilege to access it. Was there fishing closer to the front of the lake on Saturday. All jig & worm action for me with the biggest being just over 4.5 on a trick worm. Finished the day with 37 fish. Both of my thumbs are still sore two days later. Always the sign of a great morning!
