New G3 16" boats r on order for 2026 season.......stay tuned. Existing motors will be used.

Was just informed from the City that the new G3's 16" boats have arrived. They are being transferred to Barrett as you read.

I suggested they might consider selling or giving them away, way too many issues with that.....its government. They will be re-cycled.

That is funny JWall.....the rates for Barrett will be the same for the next 2 years. They will be reviewed then with the possibility of a reduction.

CDFG just announced the dates for the 2026 Barrett Fishing Lottery that takes place on April 3,4 and 5th. You can go to the office on Ruffin Drive or apply on the website under online license sales and services. This is the same program(SHARE) that they did last year. Good luck to all entrants ...

The Friends of SD Lakes seminar at LaMesa Adult Enrichment Center last night might have answered a few of the above questions. I think those in attendance might have a different opinion of CDFW now.

Was there Saturday for a re-con. Store was still not open. I talked to Cody( City employee) he said that Laina could not find anyone to work. If u know her TommyGun maybe suggest that she reach out to the Friends of Lake Hodges for some volunteers? Was a little slow for the bassers but the crappie ...
