Idk, I think it was a halibut. Believe me, I threw big lures in the area for about 4 hours after seeing that.

Trying to find the magic retrieve, twitch, or lure is impossible. Corvina are very random biters. No pattern, is the pattern.

I love tiny jigs!!

My fav trick the last few years is tiny arkie head, big body(slow fall) jig, fished in the rockiest areas on light line, but never let the jig fall in the holes. Fished real slow but never stopped or allowed to fall backward. Rock to rock to rock on a taught line. I still lose ...

She just wanted to experience catching a fish because my other cunada caught a 17lb halibut at zuniga jetty at 3am on a jetty worm in my boat and told her it was exciting.

I said ok but they wont be that big
