Re: Flipping a Flooded Forrest for GIANT Bass (video)

Thats awesome!

This is dedicated to all guys that think they know everthing about SD bass fishing and say things like, "theres no secrets in SD"

He couldve kept this to himself and hammered it for years, with almost zero crowds. I know, I would have.

Homemade chatterbait, 10lb mono.

I took me 10 tries to get her in the net. Evertime I got her head in, she would back out and shoot down. This fish knew exactly what a net was and exactly how to avoid it. I finally got her in because she was ...

Re: Guilty bystander

Yeah, it is. To me homemade means "of your own design". There's nothing proprietary about my chatterbaits, they're made with parts available online. Even my current jig heads are available online. My spinnerbaits and buzzbaits are still made on a custom mold and many of my trailers are of my own ...

Re: Having trouble finding the halibut

You can tell a big halibut bite, because your lure moves 10-15" instead of 1-3" on the bump. If you get the bite and miss, work that area for the next 2-3 hours with various lures. If you break off on the hook set, might as well go home. (or fish for SBB.)

Re: Guilty bystander

Fyi- this isnt my pb.

There was a time in the early 90s when i life dream was to catch a legal halibut. I fished the bay every weekend. My first legal was 30" on live bait and eventually i had several under my belt. Soon my fishing dream was catch a legal hali in a lure. Took a couple years, then ...

Khloe's 1st fish

So I have this new unofficial daughter that lives with me(long story, dont ask) and she has never gone fishing. Need to fix that.

First trip was supposed to her and 1 of my godsons at TP. Turned into a bunch of people and a big hassle, and not much fishing. A few fish were caught anyway, but not by ...

Re: 8/1-SD River Fun from Shore

Seriously, very few people catch 4s and 6s at the percentage rate per fishing hours that you do, and if you factor in the lack of fancy gear and the latest bass circles secret chatter intel, no one even comes close.

They will say they do, but they don't.

Respect it.
