I just wear swim trunks in the summer.

Having good fins (Forcefins) will increase your time on the water and reduce foot cramps.

Never tried a drill paddle, but I've never been in a spot where I needed to travel long distances.

Happy to help! I can't use the drill rig. It kills my wrists. Plus you can use this like a trolling motor and go forward.

You have a nice setup for a newbie’s tube.

I'm pretty sure that most of you have seen this, but this is what I use for my Super Fat Cat. I'm happy to answer any questions on it.

Tig welded aluminum

Hold the valve open
15 second fill with makita (low pressure/high volume)
Top off with hand pump
