We started in Hauser. Morning bite was kinda slow but we fed them the frog so that was fun. Only a fish here and there but no real size.

5/16 We ran into a Couple
1st Train in. New boats are sweet!
We started in Hauser. Morning bite was kinda slow but we fed them the frog so that was fun. Only a fish here and there but no real size. Once we slowed down and went to plastic we started plucking them. Tried the senko but too boring to fish. Small paddle tails seemed to be the ticket. We even ran into some bigger ones! Some of the fish we caught had senko gut and should of been bigger fish but barely hit 3 lbs. Some only 2.5 lbs.
Frog on Frog crime We ended the day with around 58 fish but mostly dinks. Our best five was about 15 lbs. Too many lulls for us to put up any numbers. We stayed till 5:30 pm. Slow for Barrett standards we hope it gets better. Still fun!
