Otay 2/8

Fun day at Otay yesterday. The weather was beautiful and the water temp was 58. My final count was 11, nothing huge, but fun anyway.
Most came on a jig, or Ned bait with a couple of underspin fish thrown in for fun. Basically I worked the banks and points all along between the boat launch down to the end of Otay arm, and caught them at various places along the way.
I hadn't been to Otay for a couple of months so it was nice to get back out there.

Way out of the tules. The water level is low, but boats can still launch.

10 to 15 feet. They seemed to like areas adjacent to steeper drop offs.

Does it seem like the city is trying to kill boating on our lakes? Sheesh!!
