Fun day at Otay yesterday. The weather was beautiful and the water temp was 58. My final count was 11, nothing huge, but fun anyway.
Most came on a jig, or Ned bait with a couple of underspin fish thrown in for fun. Basically I worked the banks and points all along between the boat launch down to the end of Otay arm, and caught them at various places along the way.
I hadn't been to Otay for a couple of months so it was nice to get back out there.

Way out of the tules. The water level is low, but boats can still launch.KillinTime wrote: Mon Feb 09, 2026 5:17 pm Getten it done nicely! How's the water level there? In or out of the tules?
