Eastern Sierra/ Lone Pine area( video)

2 weeks back, a friend and I spent some time fishing around the Lone Pine area. The gentleman at the tackle shop told us that it would be tough ..as they had not received a stock in over a month. We started at the Tuttle creek campground and found some trout in the creek. Super spooky in the gin clear water so you had to stand back a little. Found a bunch of holdovers at Whitney portal pond but part of the pond had froze over( it was cold!). Got bit on Atomic teasers and Gulp worms and only managed 2 fish for the trip. weather was amazing and the night skies there are incredible.

Sounds like a fantastic trip… A skunk would even be great in the Sierras..
