Awesome day I arrived 10:30 pm Tuesday night 6 trucks in front of me . Met some cool guys talking in line . 4:30 am we're heading to the dock . 25 minutes later both my buddy and I are hooked up . Fishing on fire within an hour we have 20 fish each . In the morning I throw 4" senkos set up Neko style . I do this because I fish slot of golf courses at night and I can cast perfectly. . last thing I want to do is tie up when it's dark . Once light hits I switched to zip orbit 80 suspended jerk bait . I was catching them but not every 10 cast like the Neko setup . So we went back to the senkos .everywhere we went we were hooking up fishing was just unreal . Lake Barrett a special place for me been going forever . This was like old times just insane . So results we stop counting over 100 fish each lots of solid 3 plus pounders biggest was 5 lbs we caught several under 5 pounds . I know it late post finally got some time to post . Most fish caught on 1/8 oz nail weights Neko rig with yamomoto 4 and 5 inch black xed senkos with cover up #2/0 hooks . We also caught several on shaky head 1/2 oz when wind picked up . We fished until 7 pm .

Sounds like the few times I went and fishing was incredible I kept trying lures that I’ve never caught fish on, I used one lure that I couldn’t figure out why I bought it and fish on.
I caught over 30 we left at 1:00 my friend about the same.
Glad to hear it’s still fishing at its best.
I did go one time with my friend on Mother’s Day and we both got a very stinky SKUNK.
Still can’t believe it.

Barrett does fiberglass boats now? Looks like pics from different trips/lakes. Why post pics from last years trip???

Well the fiberglass boat pic is gone, still all different pics from different days/years. No need to embellish a Barrett report… the pics question the validity of the overall report.

Why keep editing the same photos from different years? Too funny!!!!!! Maybe delete last year’s photos from your Barrett report in 2024 and your opener report may be more believable- NOT
