Barrett may 12th report
sorry about late report been busy .First in line like usual . Lori awesome 4 am sharp . Foggy morning barely could see 5 feet In front of you . Little slow to start out with wanted to start with top water but went to kenrig senko setup because it's weedless and I couldn't see where I was throwing . Had 10 fish roughly by 6 am my buddy had 6 . Light started coming out switched to zip orbit 80 jerk bait caught few more . Drifting thru Hauser to echo cove caught 30 more between us with the black/ blue 4 inch Yamamoto senkos . Say about 1 we did a big move to pine Creek started at the end trolling slowly tied on our Alabama rigs we saw bait boils drifting thru getting some nice size fish and doubled up several times . mostly 3 plus pounders Got a little slow after a few hours switched back to senkos still getting fish . At 5 pm it was fire
we got 30 more fish in an hour . Fished until 630 ish ended up with 60 + fish biggest 5.1 pounder 5 over 4 lbs and bunch 3 plus pounders . My best friend moved down from Georgia haven't fished Barrett in 15 years caught 40 + his biggest was 4.3 pounder. Definitely did a great job driving the boat working with the wind trolling motor worked all day batteries finally died 5 30 ish. 86 thrust 24 volt (2)100 amp lithium batteries did well considering we used the hell out of them . We fished until ,6:30 ish had a blast !

Yes full black when it's dark . Once lightened up outside switched to black and blue flake also the two tone red and black . I also add a neko weight on fat side with a cover up # 1 hook to hold the load of the 4 inch worm and 1/8 ounce weight . Works like a champ. I fish lot.of golf courses at night use same thing fill black 3 inch senko with number 2 cover up hook and 1/8 neko weight . More finesse fishing with 3 inch senko I use that worm if bite is tough . Barrett bite was good we also used 5 inch senkos but 4 s biting way more.
