Every year I make a trip out to the River to night fish the lagoon at night now that I don't have a boat. Its been a fun tradition I have had going for awhile now. The river saw a tournament with around 100 boats put a hurtin on em Friday and Sat. Over the night on Friday, the river went down around 2 feet and really slowed things down for the tournament anglers on Sat. For us it was less than stellar as it sometimes is this time of year but cant complain and getting everyone on my group( all 1st timers) to catch fish. Missing accomplished on that end. Weather was perfect in the mid 80s. Caught em on thin senko;s and drop shot robos mostly. We also hot the highline canal on the way out. Always a great time fishing my absolute favorite place on earth.
