Then they couldn't hit a baseball to save their life when it counted. 24 scoreless innings by the Dodgers pitching staff. Even broke an MLB record with that.

Yeah detroit native, that's my hometown team. Some analysts thought this could be a breakout year for the team. They sold at the trade deadline and cleared the way to call up more rookies and it worked, all the young guys were playing great ball. 12 rookies on the active roster and made a big run the last couple months.
Bummer we got knocked out vs Cleveland but still super stoked on the progress they made this year and the future looks bright.
