**Planning something different for Baja fishing — Bahía de los Ángeles, La Bocana & Punta Abreojos**
Hey everyone,
I’m from Baja California and I work in tourism here. I’ve been working on a small fishing experience focused on three areas that I think deserve a lot more attention from visiting anglers:
**Bahía de los Ángeles
La Bocana
Punta Abreojos**
The idea is not just to take people fishing for a few days and send them home.
I want to create an experience where visitors can fish with local pangueros, stay in the communities, meet the people who actually live and work there, enjoy local food, and get a real taste of Baja life.
Basically:
**Come for the fishing. Stay for the people. Leave feeling part of Baja.**
I’m putting the experience together now and I’d really like to hear from people who have traveled down to Baja to fish.
For those of you who have done fishing trips in Baja:
**What makes a Baja fishing trip worth the drive for you?**
Is it the fishing itself, the boats and captains, accommodations, transportation from San Diego, the local experience, or something else?
And if you haven't fished these areas yet, I’d be happy to answer any questions I can about them.
I’m just trying to build something good down here and would genuinely appreciate the input from fellow anglers.

I have been to Baja on several fishing trips......it is indeed a very spacial place. I have been on the Tony Reyes adventure several times out of San Felipe. Have also been to Cedros Island with Cedros Sports Fishing,,,another unique fishing adventure.
