Shore fishing help at El Cap

Hey, I'm going to el cap with my grandad for the first time since they closed the launch. We are going to fish from the shore. He really doesn't expect to do good and I personally never have at el cap. I would love to surprise him.Any recommendations would help so much!! He has been fishing the lake since the 80s and it's going to be his first time seeing it this low. We have no clue how to fish with it this low or off the shoreline. Thank you so much for any advice.

From shore best easy access is docks at launch ramp fish boil there all day had been easiest access from car or else u have to walk a bit the water is so far from any other place u park it’s difficult for anyone not young
