Unicorn hunting success

Not a particularly current report... But there was a nice window that had the San Diego stripers chewing on the beach a while back. Landed this one and lost a larger one a short time later. Took me back to the east coast, pulling stripers out of heavy surf on proper tackle. Next goals are land based yellowtail and legal WSB.

Wow! Looks like the New Jersey coast! 😆 Congrats! What was your bait / lure of choice?

5" blurple sp minnow. It felt like I was back in jerz for a few minutes there... Then my buddy got a big yellowfin croaker and ruined the mood 😂
