Murray 31 January

Post by TATomlinson »

I took advanced of the warm weather over the weekend and put in a few hours Saturday morning.

I caught a smallish bass on a drop shot in 20 feet of water on the first cast. I have been using 6th Sense’s new 4.3 drop shot minnow with great results. No first cast curse for me as I went on to catch 8 more. Only one was in deep water though.

I have had some good luck on jerkbaits and shallow crank baits. Mostly BFS à la Dannicus. I have never had much success on crank baits at Murray until recently. All of my solid fish have come on that pattern lately.

I love those little cranks. They work at every lake I've used them in. Congrats!
