Got to el cap a little later then expected with dead battery couldn’t find battery charger jump from other car wouldn’t work took battery outta other car got my car going took a little over hour left my house at 545 for cap w dad on yak 2nd time around got better idea headed for rockpile middle lake was already boats around there so I decided work shoreline there craw has not been working as well for me also feel like their are slapping it rather then eating it when I do get bit so today tried yamatanuki and bellow shad 3.8” to start neither was worth of crap lol 3rd pole I heard from friend neko was hot ticket so I put on my best neko bait got 2 or 3 small ones right away on first 5 casts my dad got a nice one 3.66 right where I missed one lucky lol on black senco he only got 2 I was sitting on rockpile I casted on edge submerged rock w spinning rod 20 braid 10 leader hooked a good one I hit troller to get off rock before I hit it the drag was perfect I couldn’t horse him he ripped drag couple times and sawed me off after dinks I was bummed but after that I preceded to rack up around 8 mostly nicer ones went back lake new scenery got couple more various spots on free rig dolive beaver when wind blew couldn’t throw neko for most part continued catching here and there found a good spot 2nd cove from ramp my dad and I both got 4 more I ended w 13 and my dad got 6 I was trying to make sure he caught but same time last time he got more so I dusted him just glad he got more end when I gave him neko now he has new bait to use 😉👍🎣

Saw you guys. Crazy you guys can tandem that yak. They do make tandem ones. Cap is good.

Yeah we’re both pretty light so works out good my troller and battery r heavy in front of yak so I need a ballast in back pops is better then box a bricks what I been lugging 👍🎣
