Trout Opener: Trout Opener is this weekend! Wright’s Rainbows will stock 2,500 pounds for the opener. Our trout come from a family owned, commercial aquaculturist in Idaho. Ten percent of every stocking is over 3 pounds. We will stock 19,000 pounds of trout this season. The bait shop is stocked up with tackle, powerbait, and mini jigs for the opener.
Lake Jennings is stocked with trout weekly or bi-weekly between November and early April, and with channel catfish during the summer months. You can also pull out large-mouth bass, red-ear sunfish and bluegill, as well as channel and blue catfish.
