Pacific Beach Monday Oct 7

I fished the surf south of Crystal Pier from about 8-10am this morning. Water still cold, 64ish. Wave action down some from the weekend. Grass was light, not a problem. Sand crabs getting scarce except under pier, and sand crabs are generally getting smaller in size. Current pulled south to north so i did a lot of walking. Bite was slow. Caught 2 BSP (best 11 inches), a SNGF (maybe 24 inches) and about a 20 inch shark of some sort (not leopard).

I wish I was there... Nice going... The shark was probably a smooth hound...
