Pacific Beach Monday Sept 30

I fished south of Crystal pier about 8-10:30 this morning. Set waves are a little stronger than over the weekend, starting to churn up grass chunks and tie interesting knots in leaders. Grass level ranged from none to slightly annoying. Sand crabs plentiful under the pier. Bite was generally slow but turned on for 15 minutes when the sun broke through. I caught a fun mix - 20 inch SFC, 12 inch YFC, 3 BSP and a small leopard shark.
