Murray shore fishing

Post by vito1023 »

Got up early 5:30 arrived at 6:00 and I walked down to the shore by the submerged fence, I had been eyeing that spot when I’ve gone to check out where I might try I wasn’t sure if it was all that deep but it was a fairly short distance from where I parked.
I fished for 2+1/2 hrs without a bite and it was so hot I had to leave. Soon as I packed everything up because I got a wind knot and couldn’t get it out, so soon as I start to walk back a fish came up and blew me a kiss ( THANKS VERY MUCH ).
All in all I always try to go over the trip to get pick out some positives out of it to see what I learned.

The positive I purchased the zip up water proof boots that I think it was ( carpkiller ) who recommended them and I have to say I really like them and they’re just what I was looking for.
I also purchased a fold up stool that also worked out, very light to carry, as with my knee replacement's I need to sit for a few minutes.
So now I’m looking for way to carry an extra rod so I can be more mobile.
So looks like I’ve got some things dialed in now.

I want to thank all that have helped me on this site, you all know who that is just about everyone.

Can’t catch ‘em if you’re not fishing! Do you see that stool as something that folds small enough to backpack? Looking for something that really folds up small and light to backpack on hikes up to lakes in the Sierra’s.

Sorry I don’t know how to get a link so you could check it out.
It’s very light folds up but I’m a smaller person 5’5 and 160lbs so it works for me but if you’re 6’ it might not work, if I figure out how get the link I’ll let you know.
Amazon of course- listed as. AOUTACC ULTRALIGHT STOOL

I forgot to add it folds completely and would fit right in your backpack
