My buddy and I went Wednesday and had a good day with 61 between the two of us. Nothing really big but got 5 or 6 at/above 3 lb, mostly in the 1.75 - 2.75 lb range. Even got a few double ups. Some fat blue gills also. Wild life report of a young buck at lake's edge getting a sip, a giant lizard, a roadrunner, a majestic healthy coyote on a rock ledge surveying the lake and finally an adolescent bald eagle swooping in to grab a meal. Added odd bonus was a hold up on the road out as the Border Patrol apprehended a handful of people on the road above the creek. Weird.
Busters weren't biting what we threw at them. Morning was the best bite but it stayed pretty consistent all day. Black/blue is definitely the color of choice whatever you're throwing. My trusted baby bass did okay but black/blue knocked them out.
