Wed 8th kayak report
First in line, got on the water with Dave @4:30, it was cold and foggy. Headed to Hauser, didn’t find fish till sunrise, fog and cold had something to do with it. Started to get them on popper, few blow up on frog, the crawler seemed to get the quality fish. Much slower than last week, ended up @20+ a nice 4.7 on a crawler, 3s and 2s in the mixed. Left @1 water temp @72

Good job in testing conditions! I have thrown an old jitterbug out there that your Crawler reminds me of. I can’t believe it doesn’t get slaughtered.

Try a bigger jitterbug or the pompadour crawler. The bigger fish seems to crush it better.

John, I have some extra crawlers, I'll let you have one on Saturday. I have never gotten a hit on the jitterbug at Barrett either.
