High water in mission vally. For weeks the water level has been high. Anyone fished upstream and seen the same thing? I'm just really curious where all this water comes from considering it hasn't rained in quite a while.

If that fish isn't dead it must of swallowed a few bags of meth washed out of a homeless encampment.. that or it's the start of the zombie invasion...

If your phone can take a picture it can make a video. Would of been just as easy to film it laying there dead as taking a picture of it.

Steelhead are a local fish, chinook are not. It's kinda like catching a lmb then saying there must be smb here.

I'd say it is the same reason I only use topwater. You get the biggest rush out of what your hoping will happen. I'd also point out your really a musky fisherman trapped on California's lakes. 10,000 casts 1 fish... yup that's the ticket!!!

There is a few things to consider before answering. Is your wife a avid fisherwoman? Or is she like my wife who sees it as more housework as I drag dirt into the car and fishy smelling clothing home. Secondly how old are your kids?
