Congrats on your first catch of the year. I got no luck for the past couple of weeks, casting metal jigs and plastics. Did you guys catch those corbinas and jack smelts with bait or lures? I still don't see any sandcrabs at all here in San Diego..... It's been hard since like November last ...

I opened up my vinyl collection to my 18 yr old Granddaughter… Every time she comes over, she goes thru the stack… Always leaves with 1/2 dozen or so… Makes me feel good to see her enjoying all of my old ‘60s and ‘70s stuff..I have or had a lot of Hendrix’s albums…. Both her, and her brother are big ...

I fished Huntington Beach with some freeze/dried blood worms, for one 2' leopard shark and one dink BSP.. Not much tide movement, and the surf was up a bit, but manageable with my little 3/8 oz C rig... I watched a 20" or so corb cruising back and forth just in front of my feet, but he didn't want ...

Thanks Mike... As I was leaving there was a guy prep'ing to launch his fishing kayak... The surf was fairly big and rough... I talked to him while he was getting ready.. Says he launches there quite a bit... He wasn't a young or particularly in shape guy either... Man, he has a lot more stones than ...

They used to be a real pest in Alamitos Bay, but I haven't seen one in a couple of years... Must be a cycle type thing... Congrats on the double and 1st.... And breaking the skunk...

1st morning at Crystal Pier… Every cast was a BSP… Except for a couple that I farmed and one cast that went unmolested…Ran out of SCs and was back at the room by 7:30 drinking coffee..Most were hand size, no dinks, except for a couple that were 12 to 14 inches… No corbs or croakers to be seen ...
