First of all, thanks to whomever saw the need to start this new site! It is very much appreciated!
As many of you know I frequent Sutherland on most Fridays. This year I am attempting to fish an entirely differently lake. It is 40 feet deeper that the lake I fished in the fall! On the opener the ...

Re: Three little bass
If I did not know you better, I would think you caught three bass between 3 to 5 pounds and keeping it low-key…. but since you’re such an honest guy, I have to believe that you got three small bass. Getting on the water is always better then not getting on the water and catching bass no matter what ...

Re: A spring day on San V...not!
Great to see you back on the waters of San V again and posting on this new site. It used to be McFish Mondays and I never had to worry about you dropping in to Murray and trying to take over some of my spots(ha, ha ...just kidding of course). I bet it was pretty cool out there on Monday, but ...

Re: A spring day on San V...not!
I was there on the 6th and the water was 58-59, so we have some improvement there. I agree we are about a month behind normal years. Males in the shallows was it for us too. I fished deeper too and only got a few. Did see a lot of suspended fish in the morning off secondary points, but they were not ...

Re: A spring day on San V...not!
I was out on Sunday and pretty much had the same fishing experience. I was happy to see the fish I did, since it's my third time at San V and the other two times I only caught trees. I'm looking forward to it warming up, it's a nice place to fish.

Re: A spring day on San V...not!
Happy to see SDfish lives on! I was there this past Thursday in the wind and rain and the bite was great. My buddy and I had 35 fish on drop shots and jerkbaits in the 10-20ft range. Best quality was on the 6” Pro Green Pumpkin Roboworm with lots of 2-3lbers and a 6lb kicker. Think the weather had ...

Murray: Kayak or Boat=Same results
Hit Murray in my kayak yesterday morning(4/19) and then again this morning(4/20) only this time in my boat. There has to be some casting advantage especially in a boat being higher above the water(not related to 4/20 high..ha ha) but there really wasn't any.
Anyway, basically the same results ...

Hey I do enjoy catching bass on any day. Catching some small ones lately and always look forward to a healthier bass once in a while. What bass fisherman doesn't enjoy catching a nice fat healthy bass once in a while? The 6lb ...

Re: Otay- 100% FULL
Nice seeing you on the site JJ.
The water is high with lots of new areas for the bass to hide…. but pretty sure you and Otay Michael will be finding and catching plenty of them.

Re: Otay- 100% FULL
Otay Michael could catch a frog or popper fish out of my birdbath! I expect him to show up at my koi ponds!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe some truth to that good buddy. Got top last week at El Capitan and again today. I’m warming up the gunfish and poppers fairly well! Haven’t seen anybody else throwing top yet ...

Re: Lake Murray April 5, 2023
You're not that old...80 is the new 40.....or 79
Speaking of old....at least I know the difference between land and water. It was funny because when you came out of the water you asked "that other guy"(you know who you are) how did I get so wet? ha ha. Glad you are learning to use the Tokyo rig ...
