Thanks for the report and sounds like a good day. I want to hit up El Cap, but I have a couple thinks I want to do to my tube first.

El Cap is going to get fired up with all the pressure off that lake.
I need to get out there.
Just remember be SAFE out there, less pressure means less help if needed.

I had already taken the trolling motor off. it mounts on the motor mount in the rear.

Got there at sunrise and not many boats. Got some info to go back to any of the big coves. Went into harvey arm about 3/4 of the way back, I found them. They were not busting, they would not hit anything and not really follow the baits. Funny thing boats started coming in and at 8:30 bam. Busting ...

Finally! I've been super busy, but finally got it out today.

Way to get them on the top! I have had some of my best topwater days at San V in mid day with chop on the water. Old Lake still had Threadfin. Sometimes I would work a walking bait 12 inches or less from the bank and they would go up and grab in. If I moved it further from the bank no takers.

Getting any bass on topwater in not ideal conditions is not easy…and you caught some which is pretty darn good. It takes lots of perseverance especially with the wind blowing while tossing those small light baits trying to entice a bass to bite. Anyway, thanks for sharing and tight lines always ...
