Really solid Halibut fishing in the bay the last couple of weeks from skiffs, kayak, and shore. Using sardines, smelt, and double rig with underspin and white gulp swimbaits.

There is none. I tried for almost two years petitioning the dfw/dfg to get one, but the assholes in Sacramento could care less. If your gonna keep one make sure it croaks. The females don't make any noise. This year has sucked for them though ...

No size limit...and the general finfish bag limit of 20 fish/10 of one species would apply.

Fish Mission Bay Father's Day caught two croaker and a bunch of bass nothing too big to brag about.

Well documented that some have cheated & used cookie cutters to stamp out the wings of rays & skates & "labeled" sold them as "scallops' @ fish markets, restaurants, etc.....
Not kidding....

My dad and I fished HI on Sunday. Ended with:
6 halibut (largest two were 19.5 & 18.5)
1 BGF
1 sandbass (13")
A dozen or so spotties, some close to legal.
