Big Rig Bass Fishing Part 2( video)
What's up guys. The 2nd edition of my trucking and fishing video's. On this one I had a lot more planned but time constraints didn't work out. But I did manage to have time for some fishing under the I-10 bridge over the Colorado River( Az side). I didn't expect much but was happy to catch some ...

Re: From rock bottom to the top
Not too good. I had some small bass and bluegill go for my fly, but nothing stuck. I only had an hour to work with and it was my first time fly fishing freshwater locally in a LONG time.
I haven't fly fished since I left Colorado (where are grew up) back in 1982. I've often thought about taking ...

7/8- Miramar fun and done!
Loaded my kayak up and hit Lake Miramar on Monday. It was overcast, the water was high and caught my first bass on top
which was a nice start. I started to catch bass on a topwater bait and in between a few bass that could not find my treble hooks.
Anyway everything was going well as I began to ...

Murray Giant on the underspin
Haven’t been on SDfish too much lately but I decided to post this catch. I was planning on taking out the kayak but didn’t want to go through the hassle of loading it up so instead, I went on the bank. I saw some fish busting so I decided to throw a small 2.8 Keitech on an underspin. I got caught on ...

Otay 7/20
Had a 16 fish day today at Otay. Walking baits, poppers, jerk and crankbaits all produced. Even picked up a few worm fish after it got hot. All in all a beautiful Saturday morning.

Hodges 7/20
Was out and set up by 6:00 am. I figured I'd hit the Straits since i haven't fished that portion of the lake in awhile. The lake has dropped another couple of feet I reckon by the looks of things. The straits looked more like a mud flat as i started on the north side . I All those good rocky out ...

Famine to Feast Otay 7/24
Well El Cap may have been a grind yesterday, but Otay was amazing today! I kinda lost count a little bit but my final total was somewhere between 50-60 bass and 1 Bluegill. Most of the bass were topwater with 15 or so coming as a combination of cranks, jerks and even a few worms.
It was awesome to ...

Hot weather… hot bite?
Otay has been a lot of fun this summer. Bait is all over and those fish are hungry.
Spent the first 6.5 hours of the day down there this morning and it was a little of everything. Got a topwater fish before I even put my tube in the water. Pulled up to the bank and there were busters in the cove 6 ...

Re: BASS KID BAGS DOUBLE-DIGIT BARRETT LARGEMOUTH
Where was that story posted?
Mike Stevens writes for Western Outdoor News.
I really never really look at WON anymore, but I kinda was guessing it might be from there. There was a few things in the past that were published in there when they rely on people to send reports in trusting that ...

Hodges PB
Hey everyone, not new to the forum but new to posting. I went out to Hodges with the goal of catching a PB. After grinding away for a couple of hours, I met another fisherman who was having some luck with crank baits. I have zero confidence with crank baits but patterns are patterns so I tied on a ...

8/30-SD River am
This sounds strange, but I just did not feel like going to Lake Murray this morning(despite the fact they are biting)and decided to go down to the SD River.

San V
Been hitting San V a few times. There has been a lot of silver sides. Hard baits get me the dinks. Plastics get me a verity of sizes. Managed to land a Kitty over 20lbs. There is 1 spot that has been producing skinny ones. Not sure what is wrong or happening to them.

Plastic bluegill
Went for a walk with the 3 amigos. Caught several fish on each lure. Biggest was shy of 5 on a Matt waker.

9/11-Return to home lake
Haven been to Murray in 2 weeks and decided to give it a go since the weather finally eased up a little. Bass were up and
down quickly and mainly concentrating on eating shad. Picked up a couple clones on spoons and then started tossing a small
jerk bait, then a super fluke.
After a bit, I thought I ...
