I fished the surf south of Crystal pier about 8:30-10:00 this morning. Sand crabs are plentiful under the pier, with roe and some soft shells. Grass was minimal. Water felt colder. First time Surf fishing. I was fishing in the morning for 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Caught 5 Perch. A lot of fish nibbling on my bait. Maybe I will try a small hook next time. No seaweed that was a good thing.
