September 24…Always a Puzzle to Solve
Took us till 9am ish to crack our code. Plastics bumping on the bottom in 10-15ft just outside the algae line yielded our first 8 bass. Had plans so trolled out of Hauser and got a bluegill(??) on a Rattletrap. WTF those gilleys are mean at Barrett!

Re: September 24…Always a Puzzle to Solve
Sounds decent considering what I heard from lake staff and most folks I talked with out there Sunday.
Seemed tough for most folks out there.
Bluegill on a rattletrap - no surprise. I have caught them out there on plastic worms, senkos, crank baits, jerk baits, hard poppers, and spinner baits. Also on some pretty big streamer flies that are 4" long.
My report from Sunday is on the fly fishing forum.
