Red Tide Fishing ?

Red Tide In So Cal ? Is it safe to fish and is it worth the effort on shore and in the bays ?

I was out last week at the surf and pulled in a surf perch, leopard and yfc.

Fished Carlsbad on Sunday with a bunch of buddies, Red tide was very evident. Fishing didn’t seem to be affected by the red tide as much as the surge and number of surfers in the water. We caught mostly Beans, YFC, and Perch. Oh and an aquarium sized Leopard shark too.
