Mammoth Lakes fun!
If you like stripping streamers in shallow water, now's the time up here! I've picked up 42 fish in 2 days, ranging from 12" to 23". I'm fishing the flats in the back of Lake Mary, mostly stripping black leaches with a flashback hares ear trailer. 11 of the fish were between 20"-23" and caught in 2'-3' of water. The fish are fat and healthy and have a nasty attitude!

Beautiful spawn colors.
Even though I've been up there over ten years, I've yet to see a bear. Beautiful pics.

Such pretty fish. Those sierra Brooke trout are something else. My buddy in NC has gigantic Brooke's in the stream next to his house but they aren't nearly as pretty. Probably just genetics or the fact their stocked.
