Hi All - I was finally able to score a boat ticket and have never visited this lake.
Can someone help me out with the address to check in? I'll be coming north from escondido, and can't find a solid address online
Thanks in advance

Hi, you can put in 19886 Japatul Lyons Valley Road which will get you to the gate, then you will have to take the dirt road for 3 miles. It's marked as Barrett Reservoir. Google maps has good directions, I also am in Escondido, I take the 15S to the 8E, to 125S/spring st and then to the 94E, I think it's Campo road at some point, then left at Lyons Valley Rd, follow to Skyline truck trail ( Lyons Valley works, but it takes longer) and then turn left back on the Lyons valley road at the second stop sign. It's about 1.7 miles from the intersection of Lyons Valley and Skyline truck trail to the gate, it will be on your right also. If you aren't looking and it's dark, you will likely miss it at least the first time. So, note the mileage at the intersection and you'll know when to be looking.

Thanks to the poor connection by my current carrier around my house, I don't even notice I am having connection issues at the lake.

I am taking my son this Sunday to Barrett! We are so excited. The last time we went was two years ago. Question for you guys are they escorting groups in from the main road? Last time we went the gate was open and we just drove in to the lake. If they are escorting groups this year what times?

No escort - Just drive to the lake from the gate. Before the dock someone will check you in
