Need expert advice to buy best tackle for bass fishing!

You're likely to get a lot of different opinions on this, so I'd just suggest you pop into one of the local shops around Santee and Lakeside and you'll get a wealth of knowledge and grab "the bait/s" you need to get you some green bass.

I am pretty naïve, but how can you tell if posts you have seen seemed to be spam?
I mean the guy posted something and people answered him, so how can you tell? What did you notice on other posts?

People read way too deep into comments. To clarify when I said “fishing”, I meant spammers fishing for victims. There’s been a few on here since I joined. One and done posts of someone asking a question with grammar errors or sentences that don’t make sense. Spam bots. Easy up people

Just IP address might not tell you anything, a lot now using VPN even with smartphones that can hide their real IP.

With that said 1000 budget and you don’t know what to buy, it is kind of fishy. Next you gonna ask about high end reels high end rods. Then high end BFS or big swimbait where you don’t even know which reels in such categories.

Just to add, I have had scammers on both this board and the old SDFish send me DMs about stuff I had for sale or wanted posts.
