After seeing VinnyBass post about wanting to see more posts I figured why not cause I enjoy seeing new posts as well. Got a chance to go out to El cap yesterday morning and showed up to the lake just after 5. Not too many people from what I could see. Helps getting to fish on a Monday. Started the morning really good with 7 before the sun had come up with the biggest just under 3 pounds. After the sun came up my buddy and I didn’t get any bites for the next couple hours. It picked back up around 10 and we were able to get a couple more. Left the lake at 12 with it showing 99 degrees in my truck. Biggest one was on a chatter bait and the rest were mostly on soft plastic worms. Didn’t see many busting on the surface and topwater for me has been zero to none. Might get back out there next week. Will advise. Hopefully this makes the site a bit more entertaining for Vinny.

Enjoyed your post and thanks for sharing…not just for me but all on the site. Looks like you had a lot of fun out there. Lots of guys say when that sun comes out at Cap it slows things down and glad you were guys were able to pick up a few more in that heat. Nice job and Tight lines always
