Bonefish still in
Mission Bay. Caught 2. A lot of hits but could not get the hook set. These are fun fighting fish. Pulling drag.

I’ll be going to MB for a bbq this weekend; do you have any tips (i.e bait, setup)? Not for bonefish in particular, but just catching fish in general. Planning to do bait-and-wait style so i can eat and talk while fishing.

I would use a high low rig with Frozen anchovy or squid.

it was way too busy, i ended up not throwing a line out to avoid hooking some kids…
there were some mullet and stingrays in the water from what i could see though

Yes it does get crowded down there.
