Cabo Fishing Report – 4 Sailfish Released Near 95 Buoy – October 5, 2026

October 5, 2026 – 4 Sailfish Released – Cabo Fishing Report

A six-hour offshore charter aboard two yachts operated by Blue Sky Cabo Fishing Charter and Tours produced four sailfish near the 95 Buoy on October 5, 2026. The 15-person group fished aboard the 50-foot Viking Blue Ocean and 43-foot Riviera Blue Sky, with all four sailfish released.

Cabo Fishing Charter Offshore Results

The fishing day began at 7:00 AM and concluded at 1:00 PM.

CHARTER STATISTICS

Date: October 5, 2026 | Duration: 6 Hours
Departure: 7:00 AM | Return: 1:00 PM
Guests: 15 | Fishing Yachts: 2
50' Viking Blue Ocean | 43' Riviera Blue Sky
Fishing Location: Near 95 Buoy | Sailfish: 4
Billfish Released: 4 | Release Rate: 100%

The two-yacht arrangement allowed the group to share the same offshore fishing experience while providing separate fishing platforms.

Each crew could manage its own tackle and fishing activities without concentrating all 15 passengers aboard one vessel.

The most important fishing development was the four-sailfish result.

Sailfish are powerful offshore predators recognized for their speed, prominent dorsal fins and energetic fights.

The group declined the optional dredge program on both yachts.

That decision is worth recording because dredges are commonly used to attract billfish by imitating concentrations of baitfish.

Despite fishing without the optional dredges, the combined charter produced four sailfish.

The available charter record does not specify individual bait presentations or how the four fish were divided between the two yachts.

All four fish were released.

Cabo Fishing Charter Group Experience

Operating two yachts can be an effective solution for larger fishing parties.

The arrangement provides additional deck space, separate crews and greater flexibility when multiple anglers want to participate.

This charter also included breakfast, bait, fishing licenses, open bar service and an Arch visit.

Photography and bonus video were available when possible.

The day's documented result was four sailfish during six hours of offshore fishing near the 95 Buoy.

For anglers following Cabo fishing conditions, this report provides a recent example of sailfish activity during the October offshore season.

FINAL CATCH: 4 SAILFISH – ALL RELEASED
