S.D. River 9-16
Good day, 11 bass and 2 sunfish in 3 hrs, including my largest bass to date. Estimated weight = 2.25 boxes of pasta! Used a micro crawdad crank and paired it with my new Zebco Omega Pro reel and telescoping rod. I'm bushwhacking and accessing some pools that are not easy to get into. Most of the session I targeted pools completely covered in duckweed, which required hopping the crankbait on the surface like a frog. It worked! Explosive topwater action! Tight lines all!

Geez....I saw the heading SD River and at a glance I thought it was something I posted. Great job out there @kastmaster!
Looks like you have a great spot and lots of action there. There was a narrow spot of the SD River behind the Home Depot(actually I don't
think the Home Depot was built yet....anyway I used to go in that little area and 90% of the bass were small but it was really fun fishing.
I remember a little spot where it may of been 3 feet dip near and old tree and I once landed a 2lb'er which to the others I was catching
was HUGE!! ha ha. Thank for sharing with us your adventures at the river as it brings back lots of fun memories and you are no doubt
having a blast. Tight lines always!
