First trip of the year. Went to Jennings around 6pm for catfish. Ended up catching a small bass and bluegill while waiting for night to come. Saw lots of small bass and bluegill in the water. As always had someone trying to fish 2 ft away.
Here because I just found out the og sdfish site is gone.

You caught fish so you must have had the lucky spot

Must be. Came back later with a flashlight to shine all over the water.
