I am looking for new condition 200 & 300 extra narrow kits, red 229 and 338 with cramp and screws.

Besides offering narrow options for a wider reel, they also make your reel perfectly aligned from left to right by replacing the small bars that hold the left and right sides together with a solid beefed frame. (Penn reels). Tiburon kits are nice if you don’t want to fork out $600-$1000 plus on a modern reel.

For example, you can find a penn 4/0 on eBay for $50 and convert it into a yellow tail special with a Tiburon kit, get some pro gears, carbon drag washers, put a T handle on it and have an awesome reel that will last your lifetime.

The XN narrow kits are nice. This is pretty what I use on most half day fishing. Holds 300yds of 30lb.
