5/22-Lake Miramar

Been a few months since I hit Lake Miramar and since I almost never fish on a weekends, I figured I better get a morning of fishing in before the 3-day Holiday weekend. Did not get an early start as I debating back and forth on whether I should I just go to Murray instead, but needed a nice change of scenery. Took my small kayak that does not have any
electronics on it in order to stick to tossing plastic worms and creature baits. Anyway, I fished shallow and then deep and then flipped the tulles with mostly plastic worms and a few creature baits. Always a little frustrating to lose a fish and lost my first two down in the tulles. Then landed a small bass and that set the agenda as far as the size
of the bass the rest of the morning. Had 3 more come unbuttoned in the grass in deep water but when it was all said and done....ended up catching 13 bass. All the bass were pretty small and but it was still fun to be out fishing at Miramar again.

Just a few random pics:
This little beast hit a craw bait deep in the tulles

Lots of runts in deep water-plastic worms

Biggest...maybe 2.5lbs..deep in the tulles.

Hey @Mcfish I really appreciate you letting me borrow your lucky bobber again
and also you were right as those bass at Miramar really like the jumbo meal worms you gave me.
Next time can I borrow one of your banjo minnows?
Thanks again and tight lines. :-)

My lizard Hugo, who lives off the mean streets of the city down here said he could take the mealworms and
whip you lizard Hank and his buddies in less than a minute.
