5/11-Home Lake Sweet Home

Returned to my home lake this morning....yes, Lake Murray. I tossed a few swimbaits for little bit and then went smaller and tossed a 6" WCZ Battleshad. I was only going to made a couple more casts and then just go to some reaction baits when the Battlesshad stopped right after I made a cast and started to reel. A snag?...wait...I felt the kicking and then knew it was a bass. Not a big fish, but still brave enough to hit that swimbait which was a good way to start the day. After a while, I went to reaction baits and started to land a bass here and there down in the deeper water. I had hoped for a topwater bass, but it was not in the works today. I did at one point throw a worm for a bit and picked up 3 bass doing that. When it was said and done after having a few come unbuttoned, I ended up with 13 bass in the boat. Felt good to be back at Murray.
Tight lines everyone! :-)

Just a few pics...

I am smiling because this is probably the bass that broke
@Mcfish 's line on his last trip to Murray.
He told me he lost a huge one that day! ha ha :-)

Vinny,
Nice work, I see the black motor in the back ground.
You have too run it, with fresh fuel.
Way to stay after them.
Tight lines!!!

Thanks....always a challenge at times at Murray. And yeah I do add fuel treatments but new fuel is a good idea.
I can't wait till the top water action kicks off in the warmer months. Tight lines. :-)

There was a guy who did really well and a lot better than the couple dinks I caught on a recent trip to the Lake of D & K.
He had a secret bait that just was working for him and only he would make it work. That guy as you have probably
guessed is this guy.......

Yes, it was @Mcfish and he caught 14 bass( I will not mention the size of them in fear of repercussions)
