Another invasive mussel

Golden mussels are even more invasive that quaggas and have already been sighted in San Diego County (article does not say where). Deja vu.

I don't know which lakes have redear sunfish (shellcrackers) but it would be a good idea to stock them in all the lakes. None of the common lake species here (bass, sunfish, catfish, etc.) are native anyhow. Round gobies are an even more effective predator but biologists go nuts at the idea of introducing a fish non-native to North America.
