How can they honor 30 boat tickets with 15 boats that are available? It's very confusing and concerning!
That’s what some of us have been saying, there’s only 15 new boats and with the same motors, in the past, I think there was a best, 3 maybe 5 “spare” boats in the case, the one or more regular boats was unable to get out (leaking boat, bad motor).
But I dunno if that many double ticket holders as the guys I know that didn’t get a ticket because they changed their cart from 2 to 1, which resulted in them, not getting any tickets at all as the change over caused to lose out, with no ticket at all.
The ticket holders who got the number 2 in their cart and paid double didn’t make sense on why they went thru the purchase, knowing it’s “only one person, one address and one credit card” rules? Maybe in their excitement, they just pulled the trigger anyways.
Well, I guess we’ll all know come Wednesday if it all works out or the City at the last minute pulled all the double names off the master list or it will be all good and all tickets will be honored.
Now if there’s more than the 15 boat tickets in this case sold and honored, then yes, I can absolutely see there’s going to be some groups left standing at the dock with no decent boat to board on. The parking lot at the dock will be double parked or triple parked.
With just the regular normal opening month, it’s a frickin’ zoo anyways, I can only imagine a complete jam with the extra load.
Same with the floater’s, Pig’s will be a real pig pen and then some.
Let’s hope for the best and see what Wednesday looks like.
