I think all the flooded brush and tulles is the problem. They are all way back in untouchable water.

Thanks for the report JJ. It can only get better as we enter the Summer.

Does anyone know if the water level at Otay is going down at all? El Cap has gone down… of course recently Murray’s water level has gone down. I’m just curious as the warmer months come if the water level goes down, maybe they’ll be better fishing and less places for the bass to spread out and hide.

This is a bit dated but Stacy(?) in concessions said A. Its no longer spilling and B. The water processing plant wants no part of the water in its current state. I am guessing its got too much debris or algae to not foul up filters. So…its sitting pretty stagnant for now. Eventually through evaporation or draining/processing it will drop and bring fish from their hiding spaces.

Thanks Michael. It's funny when the water at Otay is real low, fishing the tulles is not as good so we wish the water was high......then the water is so high is not good either...ha ha. Hopefully the summer will stir things up, water will even out and the bite will be on.
Tight lines buddy. :-)
