Gate was open earlier this time and not many people. Doesn't matter I'm last on the water. Water down another 1 1/2ft. Now the places shallow are getting to shallow or out of the water. Shad are spawning, but with water dropping it will kill the eggs. Did not find a group wanting to bite. It would be 1, 2 and maybe 3 then move on. Just kept hopping around, added a baby brush hog to the mix and it helped. Biggest just under 4 a couple over 3, ended the day with 31. Last one caught at the launch to brake the even number.

Sorry for the slow day! Looks like the birds have been raking those fish in the shallows!

I think they are hitting things when chasing the shad spawn on shore.

I remember that tournament! What was there, 6 of us? I do as poorly now as I did back then! Seen the lake brimming full and low, like now. I think I prefer middle capacity! How did I do? I caught 7. Had that many more opportunities! Lost about $30 in gear! Typical day!
