3-31-2026 Strand legal session!

Fished the skinny water during dropping tide this afternoon at Silver Strand. Very mellow conditions, light salad, clear water. I was spooked by a huge stingray 10 min before this 23.5 inch guy inhaled my chrome and orange kastmaster. Felt like a sudden dead weight at first, then the drag peeling and head shaking began. Fortunately, I had the drag set perfectly for this one! Enjoyed the fight, will enjoy the cooking. My phone was in the car and I flagged a couple of kids down for the victory photo. Fish number 100 on the year is a good one. Cooler photo is for jwacky.

It's a 9 ft Phenix Trifecta Light, but I agree, it looks like it goes to the moon for some reason.
