Redondo White Sea Bass 3/30

Caught off the surf using a Yo-Zuri Hydro Minnow LC 150, sardine pattern.
Gray light, 6:35 am, two hours before peak high tide.
Water temp 64 degrees.
Battlestar Tape only measures up to 28", this fish came out to 31".

And I was able to watch the entire retrieve on the Surfline replay.
So fortunate and stoked with this catch at my local surf break!
I'll be bringing in the sea bass head to the Redondo Beach Marina Boat Hoist, for the collection effort for genetic testing.

How fun to have it on video! There’s a nice webcam near Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach; all of us down here in San Diego should try to catch one on video this season, too

LA, and Orange county always has better fishing than SD
